A non-narrative graphic novel, Fire Away was published in 2007 by Drawn & Quarterly and created by artist Chris von Szombathy. Called both surreal and iconic Fire Away contains both sculptural and 2D work. It was nominated for the first Pigskin Peters Award, a national Canadian comic award from the Doug Wright Awards.
